The deck is absolutely fantastic, and we are thrilled that we got involved in the auction, which benefits a great cause (Ride to Conquer Cancer), and allowed us to end up with what we believe is the best deck ever! The folks from Gilkon were amazing to work with, as Domenic will attest. He was on site with them for the whole build, and was very impressed with the quality of the work, the attention to detail, and the way they worked with him to get exactly what we wanted. They are truly craftsmen, real pros. The railing from Regal is outstanding, and the supplier was very helpful in choosing the type and size that would meet our needs, in this case allowing us an unobstructed view. Thanks Mike for being the liaison between all those that donated time, talent and product, and us, to get this project done. 

And of-course, thanks to you Sean for working so hard on the design of this cottage, and enduring the countless changes and phone calls from Dom and I. The result is amazing, better than we hoped, and we could not have gone from the ugly little brown cabin, to the still small, but perfectly laid out cottage without you! 

Sean, I originally called you for this project because your name was on the blueprint from the prior owner, as you did the plans for raising the cottage for him. This was a great break for us, we could not have found anyone better, and then you led us to Michael, who was involved in the deck auction……another amazing stroke of luck for us. You were both great to work with, and we thank you very, very much. By summer we should have a lot of the inside finished, and hope that you will stop by for a beer when you are in the neighbourhood!
